ThoughtWorks North American Sabbatical Leave Policy
Ten plus years of service to one company is a big deal, and it is
something that should be recognized and rewarded! ThoughtWorks is giving back to our most
tenured employees whom for at least 10 years have given us their hard work,
dedication and commitment.
The Sabbatical Leave Policy allows eligible employees the ability to
take up to twelve (12) weeks of paid time off from work after every 10 years of
continuous service. Employees may use
the time off at their discretion, however it is recommended that employees
use the time to enrich their lives or improve the world around them.

My 10-year anniversary at TW was on April 29, 2013. I deferred my sabbatical a bit in order to spend some time working in Brazil. But now I'm ready to go!
