Advice: If you ever travel to central Australia -- buy a fly net (you can find them in all of the shops here). There are billions of these little flies -- they don't bite or sting -- they just swarm around you and drive you crazy -- crawling over your glasses -- into your ears, mouth, and nose. A fly net makes you look weird but keeps you sane. Note: the flies aren't out in the early morning and once the sun sets --- and not a problem in Alice Springs.
Back in Alice Springs tonight. My Australian Outback tour is over -- tomorrow I fly to Adelaide and start a self-drive trip for 7 days. I'm really glad I did the outback as a tour instead of a self-drive -- would have been a lot of driving through very remote areas.

Nice morning walk at Kings Canyon - long drive back to Alice Springs. Had a camel burger for lunch - not bad - I like kangaroo better though.
