Today I walked over to the Farmers Market at the Abbotsford Convent (no longer an active convent). Small market -- pretty good selection though (mostly what you would expect to find in late autumn). Strangely though that strawberries are an autumn crop here. It started to rain while I was at the Farmers Market -- so I didn't spend much time exploring the area -- will have to go back.
There are a lot of small cottages on the streets around the convent --- most of them rather run down -- lots of pretty gardens though. And lots of graffiti artwork on the buildings in the area.
Weather: cloudy with some rain, 46 - 67F
Miles Walked: 5.5
Pic Notes:

Pic Notes:
- 1: coffee shops are everywhere -- even in what look like garages
- 6: there's a permanent bakery in one of the convent buildings. I snagged the last loaf of bread (a 'batard') --- excellent bread -- the best that I've had on my trip -- I can see why they sell 400 loafs on market day.
- 8: narrow streets -- parking spots are 1/2 on the road & 1/2 on the sidewalk
- 17: excellent camembert that I picked up at the market (to celebrate that this time last year -- I was on vacation in France)
