Torrential rain all day. Did nothing except read and watch TV. Exciting stuff!
I am a bit bummed that it rained all day though -- the owner of the cottage was going to take me out on an outrigger canoe --- that would have been fun.

- Circle of Wives by Alice LaPlante. Enjoyable mystery read. This is her second novel -- I liked her first one also.
- The Weight of Blood by Laura McHugh. Debut novel for the author. Page-turner mystery/thriller. Well-written. Rather dark.
